TRAINEE/ APPRENTICE GREENKEEPER WANTED

 

An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee/Apprentice Greenkeeper, to join our dedicated, experienced team, in the maintenance and development of our 18-hole golf course. The successful candidate will be a keen, hard working individual with a positive attitude who has an interest in turf management or agronomy. The position requires a high standard of course preparation and attention to detail.

  8. SPRAY ROUND UP ON SOIL AREA BY 5TH FAIRWAY LHS FOR USE ON WINTER PROJECTS.

Well Done Kevin!18th June 2010

On Monday 31st May. Kevin O'Connell won the 36 hole event Teise Trophy at Lamberhurst Golf Club with scores of 73-72, winning by 3 shots.  The course was playing very hard with strong winds and fast undulating greens. This was a significant win for Kevin taking on a strong field of players and a great way to start his competitive season.

Kevin also was a runner-up in the Kent Amateur the biggest tournament in the golfing calendar in Kent.  His score was 71-69 losing on the 18th hole in the matchplay final.

We wish him well in the upcoming tournament 'The Open Qualifying' on the 21st June at East Sussex National.

TOPDRESSING GREENS10th June 2010

Topdressing greens will commence on Tuesday 15th June 2010, a light application of topdressing will be applied and will brush in on the day.
