Shooters Hill Golf Club is situated close to Blackheath, not much more than a mile or two from Canary Wharf, Greenwich, and the now famous O2 Arena. Established in 1903, the course offers a true test of golf with its rolling fairways and excellent greens for golfers of all abilities.
The Clubhouse
The Clubhouse was built in 1873. There are bar and dining facilities together with Men's and Ladies' locker rooms.
There is also a members' snooker room.
The main bar areas underwent refurbishment in Spring 2009, and together with the "snug" (spike bar) and superbly appointed dining room provide a choice of bars and dining facilities.
Private Functions
The lounge bar and dining room are ideal venues for private functions - perhaps a wedding reception or anniversary dinner or for celebrating a special birthday. The catering provided is second to none, and all occasions can be

PGA Professional - Dave Brotherton
In a continuing effort to provide the Club with the best coaching available, Dave Brotherton, who has been head Coaching PGA Professional at SHGC for many years, continues to provide teaching facilities for both members and non-members alike.
Golfers have long enjoyed their lessons with Dave. His teaching abilities range from juniors as young as four, to Club Champions and elite level players. He offers a fully stocked Pro Shop, with something for everyone and provides a vast
range of goods and club repair services.
